Biography
Matt was found in the Mission Mountains of western Montana roaming with a momma bear and cub. After being rescued, he was given to a wonderful middle-aged couple that were well experienced with raising children having raised four already. After moving around the country for many years, the couple returned to the only place Matt could truly call home. This would bring the boy to adulthood, and though the couple did a wonderful job raising him, it really is true what they say, “no matter how domestic you think they are, it’s still a wild animal in there.”
Small Town Story
Matt’s wild nature has brought on a lifetime of shenanigans, broken bones, surgeries, and lots of great stories. Nowadays he spends time with friends enjoying the wonderful area we live in from the lake, river, mountains or on the open road with the wind in his hair. Occasionally, he still disappears for a long weekend, and we all know he’s out there still searching for that first family.
Community Service
Much of Matt’s spare time is spent volunteering for various community and charitable organizations such as the Polson Senior Center, Raven Hall, Lions Club, Elk’s scholarship, veteran’s programs, church youth programs and the VFW.
