Amortization allows users to calculate, bill, and monitor amortized payments of principle and interest for larger charges to be paid off over time. Examples might be utility hookups, meter hookup charges, etc. The system performs all financial tracking necessary to record the total amount owed under accounts receivable, and then monitor and control payments against this amount.
